Take five days for the 60 km. walk that passes Lakes Quesquecocha and Verdecocha, and allows great views of snow-capped peaks (Murruraju and Raria), big cacti, and sometimes groups of vicuñas. Crossing the pass at 4,800m. we arrive at the arqeological ruins of Chavín, which have great historical value for being the cultural roots of Andean societies.
